Urania's Mirror An illustration by Sidney Hall for Urania's Mirror, a set of 32 huge celebrity graph cards first released in November 1824. These cards, which were based upon Alexander Jamieson's A Holy Atlas, had openings punched enabling them to be held up to the light to view a reasonable representation of the constellation. The illustrations of the constellations in Urania's Mirror are redrawings from those in Alexander Jamieson's A Holy Atlas, released about 3 years previously, and consist of unique attributes varying from Jamieson's skies atlas; among these is the "Norma Nilotica" – a determining device for the Nile floodings – seen here held by Aquarius, the sprinkle bea
